A french website translate through google...a neat interview with a great composer back in 2006 talking about La Piste mostly but also generally about his music and other work he was planning after. Smile

Amar has composed a new soundtrack for the movie Home. You can listen to a sample here:

I bought the soundtrack ("Home") today and I'm listening to it right now. Sounds good.

If JERIC hasn't got it yet, I will be happy donating it for SST!

I found Mr. Amar's official website, which I believe has not been up that long since I couldn't find this last winter when I looked.

Official website

The site is in French and English, and has lots of interesting material.

I also found an interview of Costa-Gavras (the film director) and Armand Amar from the 2007 Paris Cinéma Film Festival (in French only, sorry):

This might be interesting for the British Armand Amar fans:

I just noticed that next week (Sept 10 and 11) the Ciné Lumière of Institut Francais of London, UK, will show two films with Armand Amar scores (Home (directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand) and Eden is West (Eden à l'Ouest, by Costa-Gavras)), and after the showing's there will be a Q&A session with each film's director and composer Armand Amar.

Institute's website

I wish I were in London next week. Smile
