Well, I'm rather late at this... I thought I had chimed in but forgot to...
Congrats to everyone involved for this awesome feature of favorite tracks and albums!
Pesa
As for feedback... the only thing I can think of at the moment is that you'll want to make sure that having these favorites is not too much of a load on the server. It does take a few seconds for me to load the favorites page. I'm sure you've thought about this but perhaps you could have pages of say 25 favorites on each page, if it's really a load on the server.
But all in all it's an excellent feature! |

Pesa has increased the limits for VIP Favorites to:
Albums: 150
Tracks: 300
He also added Top 100 favorite albums and the Top 100 favorite tracks to the Top 100 module. (Menu > Station > Top 100) _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

The Track Favorites limit has been increased from 100 to 150 and for VIPs, from 500 to 1500. Album Favorites limit remains the same at 50 and for VIPs, 500.
For Track Favorites, Genre* and Year (with sorts) have been added. Sorting on Title and Album has also been added. No addition info has been added to Album Favorites yet.
For Track and Album Favorites, a Sequence# has been added below the Rank# so that no matter what order the Rank# is in, you know how far down the list you have scrolled.
Track Favorite Sorts:
Rank# (Asc/Desc)
Date/Time Last Played (Asc/Desc)
Track Title (Asc/Desc), Rank#
Album (Asc/Desc), Rank#
Artist (Asc/Desc), Year, Album, Rank#
Genre (Asc/Desc), Artist, Year, Album, Rank#
Year (Asc/Desc), Artist, Album, Rank#
Length (Asc/Desc), Rank#
* I realize adding Genre is not much of a feature on SST, but it is helpful on the other 24seven.FM stations |

Thank you! This is great! I was also getting frustrated with my full favorite tracks list. New sorting features will also be very useful. |

There's a few more pieces of info I wanted to add to Favorites, but it would make the Track Favorites list too cluttered. I might try putting a toggle-button above the headers for a View-A and View-B.
One thing I think would be pretty cool would be to bring user Comments into the list. As it exists now, you can only see them one fave at a time, in the Detail panel to the right, when you click on the Detail "button" on a single fave. As a result, Comments are under used.
But, if Comments were in the list, users could put interesting keywords/phrases in them and see them quickly without dealing with the detail panel. And doing page-finds on these keywords/phrases could help users quickly step through each fave with that specific info. |

Not trying to be negative, but I think the new Favorites view is a bit "too cluttered" even now.
Except for the "Buy" option, you could see all of the additional info if you simply clicked on the "Details" icon... only for one track at a time, but I simply don't feel the need to look at the additional info all the time.
The new sorting options are kinda neat though. _________________ "Welcome to the paranoia club; cheapest fees in the universe and membership lasts forever."

i think the new favlists are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
the only thing that confuses me is the double numbers in the first column. I understand what the numbers are, but it confuses me when i look at them. But thats probably just the force of habit and will go away with time. Thank you for this! |

Great Job! Double numbers are helpful when you change sorting data... But... Genres column is always empty so i think it's useless... Ok now i see how it works.. so everything is ok.. _________________ "Look, let me explain something to you. I'm not Mr. Lebowski. You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me.
