We already have "Long Track Day" for the longest day of the year, and "Short Track Day" for the shortest day of the year.
As suggested by katgdotcom this year, we tried to select tracks of equal length. I estimated the average length of tracks to be 3:20 ish so the aim was to keep track lengths as close to that as possible.
While this seems an arbitrary measure for choosing tracks, it made for a smooth queue of regular changes, with everyone's choice having equal weight. And as with most theme days, in trying to fit tracks to the criteria we got some variation from people's usual choices.
I therefore suggest adding this as an official Theme day for years to come. |

I like to play with our library and would enjoy the idea Dragonel.

I think your estimate is pretty good.
According to our database, when you look at requests of 8 users who have requested the most so far (more than 20000 requests from the SST library each), you get average lenghts of a request for each of them at: 03:22; 03:41; 03:11; 04:00; 04:03; 02:27; 02:54; 02:45. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

i very much love this idea. And with the popularity of the long and short track days i think this might be an interesting addition (and hopefully animate some of the less active users into requesting a bit ... which is always fun and interesting - so much new stuff to discover) |
