It's too early to know anything, but Wolf Trap often has events that may be appropriate to build a meeting around. They also have lawn tickets, which would be great for a picnic meal.

There is also a film festival in Charlottesville, VA every year, but I've never been and don't really know the time frame.

OK I'll take a look at that too BQ.
Furthermore I can tell you all that during the Krakow-festival we came in contact with the organisers of the Tenerife Film Music -festival (Fimucité)
Caliburn and me will go there end of june and discuss with Anna, their PR-manager on SST becoming full mediapartner of the festival.
Sirius will add it to the Meet & Greet worldtour list
as the 4th European Gathering.
I also talked to Jonathan Neely, director of the Music Department of Walt Disney Company and we agreed to get in contact to see if one of their composers can be guest of honour on the EaSST coast gathering. (We were discussing Alan Menken for that, but then the gathering should be somewhere in the neighborhood of New Rochelle,NY)

I also would like to point Out that there is a radio station called Klassik Radio in Germany, that has been touring through Germany with film music for quite some time now. I have attended 4 or so in the last 3 years. They are planning a new tour for 2012 and that could be a nice venue to have a meet & greet for the German fans...
The Klassik Radip Pops Orchestra is really good and the conductor is Nic Raine - quite funny guy actually.

I know that too Leina, I've been to the concerts twice myself. Once in Munich and once in Frankfurt.
Great chance that our German meeting will be connected with one of this concerts.

Gatherings in Germany, and near Berlin in particular, sound good to me. And with recent approval of my USA visa application I think I can start thinking about joining U.S. EaSST Coast Gathering next year too!
