David Newman is on the cover of Film Score Monthly magazine this month in an article entitled "Film Music Royalty":
FSM is probably the best film music magazine in the world. I subscribed for years when it was hard copy and sent thru the mail. Like many publications these days, it's now available only electronically. So the only downer here is that to be able to read the article, you must subscribe (via Screen Archives). |

David will be guest at the Vienna Filmmusic Symposium and Galaconcert.
October 22nd, 2012
I will be there too as ambassador and hope to be able to talk with him.

David was invited to our SST meeting in Vienna, Oct.5th 2013, but unfortunately he flies back to USA on saturday morning.
I told him there would be a next time and he agreed on that and was really sorry he could not make it.
However I will talk to him again during the International Filmmusic Symposium that is previous to the "Hollywood in Vienna" concert
