Hi folks! Cool Happy Twos Day (22-2-22).

Last year I started experimenting with orchestral compositions using free software, and I wrote my first piece "Sunrise to Sunset", a calm and soothing piece for a very bleak time.

A year later, I decided that I would like to dive a little deeper into orchestral composition so I upgraded my computer and purchased a nice library of symphony sounds which allowed me to compose more complex and realistic music.

For my second project, I set out to write something with more action, a hero/adventure theme if you will, and I am extremely happy with the result! This was a very ambitious project as I have no classical music training, just lots of love for soundtracks and a good ear. This piece contains over 24 different instruments that I had to write for.

Please have a listen and help me find a title for this piece! Tell me what you imagine when you listen to it. You guys are my main audience so I very much value your comments!

EDIT: Title found! Thanks for your suggestions (here and elsewhere).

Here it is:

SIN

Very nice indeed, SIN

The first thought on titles I have is "Journey" or "Journeying" ... but I'll listen to it again in a bit to think about where it is going Smile

My thoughts are similar that it sounds like a journey track but it also has a bit a culmination theme as well. I suggest "The path we have chosen".

Great work Sin. I look forward to hearing more.

Wow! Congrats SIN! Good job!
Sounds like a video game music to me. So maybe you should consider coding a video game to this music as your next artistic project Wink

I hear quite a bit of climbing in this music. Climbing and racing against the clock or against your competition.

Edit: listened to it one more time and this time it made me imagine a process of building something quickly, probably with help of magic skills here and there.

I love hearing your thoughts on this! It's really a special feeling for me.

To imagine scenes that go with the music reminds me a bit of what the artists/animators of Fantasia did for each musical piece.

Thanks a lot! Looking forward to hearing from more of you!
