After the heartbreaking news today about the sudden loss of Cinder, i would like to make a suggestion. It is common in germany to send condolences in form of cards to the family. I dont know, how it is handled in USA, but i guess there is something quite equal.

My suggestion, we create a digital condolence card. Everyone who cares can add some lines and their name and after an acceptable amount of time someone sends/ handles over the card (digitally or printed) to the family.

Par example we could use a service like this one: https://www.remembr.com/

I dont have interacted with cinder at all, nor do i know anyone close enough but i'd like to add my condolences. And i think this might be a nice way.

Is this considered a good idea and if so, is there anyone who is closer to her family, who would like to take the lead in this idea?

I have used a service like remembr and generally it feels like that is up to the family to select if they want messages that way.

I would suggest instead simply posting our thoughts of Cinder and condolences somewhere here on the site. In fact, that was what I thought your post was when I read "Digital Condolence Card". Then we will always have a memorial for her right here.
I'm sure someone could send her family a link to it after it is created.

If that sounds good, can one of the Admins create a post & Sticky it?

Yeah, total acknowledge. Theres no need for extra services. Just a collection of condolences somewhere, which might be sent to her family.
