Oh pregnancy isn't the problem, platy... |
When my wife was pregnant, all her female friends were talking to her about how horrible it was, and talking about frightening stories.
It was as if it was a kind of tradition or something like that _________________ There is no problem that can't be solve without any solution |

Now that is the hardest part of pregnancy, isn't it, girls? - putting up with those stupid, insensitive, "poor me" stories!
LadyI is an extremely intelligent, well-read woman with a wonderful husband and family. I have no doubt that the birth of their firstborn is going to be the most wonderful experience of their lives - one they will remember with great joy all their lives.
Sure it hurts!! But unless there are complications, one can have a completely natural childbirth without drugs. It's just a matter of mind-over-matter and focus. (I used a bird of paradise clip-on every time). With proper training and the support of a loving "coach" and medical team, it is nothing to fear. And look what you get to take home afterwards! |

Congrats! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice thinking.
BTW, be sure to tell us when your trains article gets published, even if it takes forever! (I know how it can be...) |

Enjoyed the article, and was particularly amused by your description of Unicron, a robot/planet, as being "death personified". I guess "death in robot/planet form" isn't too catchy.

Well, the journal finally got back to me on my SST trains article. It was a rejection, which in some circles just means I'm closer to becoming a writer. They gave me some general comments, which may be helpful. So now I need to decide if revising and resubmitting it makes sense, or if I should revise it and shop it elsewhere. Sigh.
On the up side, compared to the rejection I got from that British Egyptology journal earlier this year, this was a positive mash note. They said it was interesting, and just suggested I shift my focus. Probably good advice. Let's see if I can find the strength. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?
