Hi guys
through the years, as a huge fan of most scifi in every way including computer games, I have noticed a trend. Most scifi games, movies or tv-shows includes the word Star in one way or another.
As a personal note: sometimes in mid sentences, I'm having problems distinguishing them from one another.
To name a few, in the movies you have:
01) Star-gate
02) Star-wars
03) Star-trek
04) Battle-Star Galactica
Games include:
05) Star-Control
06) Star-Craft
07) Star-Quest
Added to List as of 15 of May:
08) Battle beyond the Stars
09) Stardust
10) Stardust memories
11) A star is born
12) Laura's Stern (Laura's Star)
13) Starship Troopers
14) The Stars fell on Henrietta
15) Star-sky and Hutch (If the count is down to one in diff., this one is will be ignored :)
16) The Starmaker
A new trend revealed it self to me later on.
Movie titles with the words Last of or The Last. What's that about? Is the world comming to an end??
Here you have and the list goes on:
01) The Last of the Mohicans
02) The last samurai.
03) Mao's last dancer
04) The Last Temptation of Christ.
05) The last king of Scotland
Added to List as of 15 of may:
06) Last man standing
07) Last boy scout
08) Last dance of the raven
09) The Last unicorn
10) Last of the dogmen
11) The last sin eater
12) Last tango in Paris
And my favourite title which combines the two so beautifully and really counts on both sides:
13/17) The Last Star-fighter.
Is this someones idea of a tribute to the two most popular title templates?
My conclusion: Every genre has its own template title? Were most of these title just determined 5 min. before lunch time? My guess is as good as yours.
So what is all the fuss about? Well I want to know which of the two title templates takes the title for having most titles. confused?
Discover titles not listed in here from anywhere in the entertainment business featuring the words Last of/The Last or Star. Add the title as a post, after a few weeks I'll count em all and we'll see.
I included a poll, just to see your opinions before the result is published.

I suppose that Star-sky and Hutch isn't appropriate? _________________ There is no problem that can't be solve without any solution |

Wauv. So many 'last of' titles. I had my money on star, but my grounds are getting shaky. |
