International Webcasting Association Announces three webcasts to promote Webcasting and reach membership goals
The Association will participate in three webcasts in San Jose, CA, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC in partnership with TVWorldWide.com.
Washington D.C. – September 29, 2003 – The IWA has announced it's Fall 2003 Webcast Event Schedule as part of the new roles by the association president, Dave Gardy and executive director, Kevin Shively. There will be three webcasts, two of which will include promotional opportunities to grow the IWA membership base. The third will be a special Town Hall Meeting for the webcasting industry with featured speakers and vendors discussing where the webcasting industry has been and what it's immediate and long-term future may hold.
Shively and Gardy indicated that the IWA has embarked on an ambitious event schedule through the end of the year featuring live webcasts for interactive membership participation. Gardy will host IWA-specific programming and member interview features during TVWorldwide.com’s live webcasts at industry trade shows and during a planned “International Webcasting Association Worldwide Town Meeting” scheduled in November live, from TVWorldwide studios in Northern Virginia, near Washington D.C. All live webcasts will be archived for later viewing. Specific event details will be forthcoming for this event schedule that, as of press time, includes the following:
Streaming Media CA- October 13-16, Santa Clara, CA - Live Webcast from the floor of the conference will feature interviews with key industry leaders, Streaming Media CA speakers and IWA representatives and members with special programming for the IWA membership worldwide.
International Webcasting Association Worldwide Town Meeting, November 12, Live from Northern Virginia - Full day schedule of interactive seminars and presentations on state-of-the-art streaming media technology and issues of importance to webcasters worldwide. Specific IWA membership committee meetings will be featured during the webcast.
Government Video Expo, December 3-4, Washington, DC - Live Webcast from the floor of the conference will feature interviews with key government and industry leaders, Government Video Expo speakers and IWA representatives with special programming for the IWA membership worldwide.
