THE MOVIE GAME

Welcome to The Movie Game.

HOW TO PLAY/RULES:

The game is similar to ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon’, but more challenging as our game asks you to link TWO 'seemingly' unrelated MOVIES in just THREE moves or better. See below:

Example:COCOON (1985) to PREDATOR (1987)

1. COCOON starred Brian Dennehy who was in First Blood
2. First Blood starred Sylvester Stallone who starred in Rocky
3. Rocky also starred Carl Weathers who was in PREDATOR.

OR written down like this:

1. COCOON -- Brian Dennehy -- First Blood
2. First Blood -- Sylvester Stallone -- Rocky
3. Rocky -- Carl Weathers -- PREDATOR

The object is to make the connection in just 3 moves or better.

POST YOUR SOLUTION BELOW. The winning solution is the FIRST solution posted to make the connection in 3 moves or less.

Verify your own solution before you post it.
If necessary use imdb.com. to verify your solution: http://www.imdb.com/

Each game will continue to run until we have a winning solution.

PRIZE: Winner chooses the next pair of movies to connect in the following game.

Warning: Your post will NOT count if you fail to include the next game. This rule is in place to keep the game from grinding to a halt should a winning solution be posted without the next game attached. Thanks.

Disallowed movies/links:
TV & TV movies; animations; voice-overs; narrations; himself/herself credits; uncredited appearances (inc. uncredited cameos); movies not in the english language; movies premiered before 1939.
Re:
AVATAR (2009) -- Zoe Saldana (Neytiri) would be disallowed as a link, but Sam Worthington (Jake Sully) would be acceptable.

Please DO NOT post solutions greater than 3 moves.
No Runner-up/alternative solutions.
A 3 move solution beats a 2 move solution if it was posted first.

Thanks.

SAW - Cary Elwes - Days of Thunder
Days of Thunder - Tom Cruise - WAR OF THE WORLDS (2005)

I would've done WAR OF THE WORLDS (2005) to WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953), but as Gene Barry starred in 1953 and had a cameo in 2005, I guess that's a bit too easy Very Happy

So try SAHARA (1943) to SAHARA (2005)
