For all the french in here, you can find an interview of Hayao Miyazaki, short and not outstanding, but for anyone interested, you can find it here
I may consider a translation if you promise to worship the platypus _________________ There is no problem that can't be solve without any solution |

These are great news! I don't think Hisaishi ever teamed up with another composer. I'm looking forward to that collaboration! |

That'll be interesting! I'm not familiar with Rahman yet, but it's nice to see Hisaishi teaming up with an another unique composer
Spoiler: I was thinking to post a news about "Hisaishi collaborates with Hans Zimmer on the upcoming live-action remake of "Princess Mononoke" on the last April 1st... but I didn't |

Great news for the European HFC members (especially the Spanish people!)
http://congreso.bsospirit.com/ingles/
JOE HISAISHI is the new guest of 2009 International Film Music Conference in Úbeda, Spain.
Go to see him if you can afford! Perhaps he will perform his own film music.
I won't go there (because I live in the same country where he lives ) but it's great that he can get a chance to be recognized by more film music fans who are not familiar with non-American/European scores.
Michael Giacchino is also a guest of this festival. |
It was announced that Hisaishi won't attend the festival because of his schedule, sadly. He's too busy... _________________ Miya the Pridelander

(The Curved Music albums are compilations of commercials music done by Hisaishi) |

I have a lot of Joe Hisaishi's music on album (Mononoke, Spirited Away, Totoro, etc.). I need to be in this club. |
