Welcome to our Pride!
TLKFC is open to anyone who loves Disney's THE LION KING. The movie, score, songs, story, characters, visuals, stage versions, direct-to-video sequels, Timon & Pumbaa TV series, big cats, African wildlife, African rhythm, Hans Zimmer's African scores, Lebo M, TLK fanarts, fanfictions, merchandises, fluffy lion dolls, beanies, Pez, etc etc... if anything related to The Lion King attracts you, whatever you are, a herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, or scavenger, you're all welcomed into our pride!
So, how to join the Pride? It's very easy! Whenever you hear any music related to TLK on SST, just roar out "TLKFC" in the chat. Then you're our pal. *monkey-hugs*
But once you join our Pride, you must keep some strict rules (see below). Don't deliberately disobey them.
#1: Respect all the creatures --- from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope. Even when they're on your plate or between two buns.
#2: Respect the King. Don't turn your back on him.
#3: And this is our King, happily singing I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts... oops, sorry, actually he's not singing. He's just talking about his music. 
#4: Sir Elton and Sir Tim are not kings. They're Knights.
#5: Elvis is also the King. But he doesn't belong to our pride. He's in Hawaii.
#6: JERIC is also our King. Respect him. Deeply.
#7: Respect his Queen too. If you find anything wrong in our SST kingdom, report it to her. Checking in... with the morning report.
#8: Respect their faithful subjects, Mods and Admins, too.
#9: SAM is a nice guy.
#10: Remember who you are.
#11: Sing Nants ingonyama song more than 10 times per day.
#12: Don't eat Bambi. Because he's the ancestor of TLK.
#13: Don't call our prince Kimba. He's not in our pride.
#14: By the way, Kimba means "gold tooth" in Japanese. Why American producers renamed poor Leo such a horrible name? 
#15: But Tezuka's "Jungle Emperor" is a classic manga. And it has a bunch of humans in the story instead of an evil uncle. But you'll find a strong influence of Bambi. No Hamlet influence though.
#16: Umm, better to stop talking about Leo. Or Kimba.
#17: Again, remember who you are.
#18: If you are still underage, you must take a pouncing lesson once a week, with the King's majordomo.
#19: Everything the light touches is our Kingdom, but don't go beyond the northern border. There are hungry hyenas waiting for you.
#20: If you encounter them, dress in drag and do the hula. It's effective.
#21: And laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha!
#22: But actually hyenas are wonderful animals. Cute.
#23: BE PREPARED!!!
#24: For what? A vocal track from Hoodwinked.
#25: You can eat bugs. If you want.
#26: Don't eat your SST friends though. No blood is allowed in the chatroom.
#27: If you're hungry, go to a market near you. Or McDonald.
#28: And so, we are all connected in the great Circle of Life.
#29: Remember!
#30: Long live the King!
...Are you frightened by these strict laws of our Kingdom? Hakuna Matata. No worries. We won't eat you even if you break any of them! 
P.S. I'm obviously influenced by this thread... but everyone is influenced by something, isn't it?

Just read and signed the TLK petition. I fully agree that there should be a release of it. Just like we must respect all creatures from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope, so must we show our respect to the masterpiece that Zimmer has created.
