|
When I woke up this morning I saw this nice new feature. Of course I did a quick scan.
I added an album and after that i clicked the 'delete' button. I get the message to confirm it. After I click yes the list does not refresh and it looked like it is still in the list. When I click Your Favorites from the menu the item is gone.
...
No it is not gone. After I clicked album/track it was shown again.
Track deletion is also not possible _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

I made my favorite list public. I see an icon left of my post and also in the viewing profile list.
I would like to see a link to the public favorite on the 'Personal info' page, if possible, when I click the name on the online list. _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Wow! When you think that SST is just the best in the world and it's hard to imagine it can get better, SST just gets better and better!
I'm very happy to see "Add to favourite" feature available!
One of the most interesting additions to SST lately in my opinion.
Thanks to all who helped to implement this!
I haven't got too much time to explore this neat new thing yet, but I have some hint already.
What do you think about adding two little icons to Now Playing module (box) on the top of the screen? I mean: "add to fav albums" icon and "add to fav tracks" icon (somwhere next to Album cover for example).
I think it should be useful shortcut to let people quickly and easily add to favourites what they hear in the stream at the moment.
Edit: I can confirm I get the same problem Sirius is talking about. I can't delete neither track nor album from my list. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

The "Remove" issue was confirmed for IE browser. It shall be fixed now.
The Personal Info deserves a link indeed.
About the icons in the "Now Playing", you can easily acces them by going to the "Album Information" page (just a click on the cover). By now we don't want to add more info to the main page. _________________ I think I think, therefore I think I am. (Ambrose Bierce) |

I also see you changed the link from personal info to profile view when you click on the online list.
But then it means the extra info is not viewable anymore _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

BTW: Is there a limit of tracks one can name as favourites? _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

This is, officially, AWESOME! (I actually just said that out loud. Ask my husband.) I can't wait to start playing with this feature in earnest.
Of course, what's really sweet is that I can pick favorite tracks right off my request history. And I like that toggling feature, between favorite tracks and albums.
Okay. Play time. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Yes, Mol, they are 100 for tracks and 50 for albums.
Albums are "mobile" in the list now (as are tracks).
We are owing an official announcement of the new feature! _________________ I think I think, therefore I think I am. (Ambrose Bierce) |

I would like to see a click-able link for "Add to favorites" on the Now Playing box. That way, if I hear something I like, I can add to favorites on the spot!
Keep up the good work! _________________ I do not wake up with thoughts of control and rebellion, but thoughts of purpose and righteousness and the empowerment to fulfill those convictions that define me. |

Further, any cover present in the queue/played lists is click-able to show the album info, where there are links to add albums/tracks to Favorites.

I don't think that adding a heart icon would have any big impact on the look and function of the Now Playing window. It could be on the same row as the stars are on, perhaps. It wouldn't need any text, just the icon.
As for code changes and anything administrative, I claim ignorance.
