When I was compilling the list of composer threads on SST I was surprised to see that Alan Silvestri didn't have any. So here we are. Quite simple (or maybe not!) - what are your favourite Silvestri soundtracks?

Mine would be:

Back To The Future 2,
Contact and
The Mummy Returns...

...although, I have to say, that I haven't really found a Silvestri soundtrack that has blown me away yet. Perhaps this thread will bring some up!

Contact, Forrest Gump, and Beowulf are my current favorites. Some tracks from the Abyss are very moving too.

I'd have to say Beowulf. I don't know how much is Alan responsible for it, but the singed songs are painfully beautiful. (The orchestral part is great too.)

The Mummy Returns
Beowulf
Van Helsing

Tastes aredifferent. Smile
From Beowulf I love the orchestral tracks, whereas the ones with vocals are bordering on the ridiculousness, IMO.
