If I may I'd suggest that Mods and Admins (and also perhaps other active community members) could actively remind people of the need for support and donations when they are online. This does happen but perhaps not so frequently as it could.
Just my 2 cents worth...

I don't think I knew about the "buy a request" day. Perhaps you should start a thread and mention it. Of course, mention it isn't an OFFICIAL SST day.

i am soooooooooooooooooooo interested in the buying selling trading of requests.. lol HOW MUCH ?
that said I was very disappointed to see where the meter was considering where we are in the month. I think perhaps buying of requests if they are gonna do it should be in the middle of the month.. hit your goals early folks! also advertise it I would happily come on one day a month like clock work if I could request request request :_)
