|
Greetings noble members of the streaming soundtracks forum.
I have a question regarding a way to syndicate the "now playing" information from top of this website via RSS (1.0/2.0). Is there an easy way to do this?
Or is RSS the wrong technique for this? And what's better - Webservices/FlashRemoting/XML?
I'm asking because I want to build a small Flash-RIA for my desktop containing all the information from "now playing" section of the streaming soundtracks website.
By the way, you can answer in german, english, saxonian. |

That's a good idea. I have had a similar idea about that "song info on desktop" thingy. |

I'm sure there are many ways to display the now playing-info with some kind of XML-language to make it both faster and more stable. As Jeric just pointed out in the news; Soon we will be able to work on improving the site/station instead of just trying to keep it up and running. For those of you who want to use active desktop or something like that in windows, heres the URL for the header:

People say they're going to work on this and then dissappear.
And of course you like your own idea, I should hope you wouldn't spout them here if yeh didn't like 'em yourself. |
