I fired up my live365 player today and the streamsoundtracks station was gone.
Then tried to find streamingsoundtracks on live365.com and it was a bit hard to find... when I did... looks like the only thing I am able to play is a slow speed stream.
Can't stand that.
Do I have to use VLC now and forever more?

Switching back to VLC is remining me of why I stayed with Live365 to begin with... just sending out an e-mail attachment causes VLC to cough, hiccup, pause...
Seems like many people report this about VLC... any tips for me to make this better?
Or is there another player for mac that will work?

yes l365 is no more. Try foobar - not sure if it works for mac or not, but it's awesome

Actually SST is still available on Live365 (and TiVo for L365 Preferred membership):
100 64K streams
10 32K
(It's just that L365 Preferred membership no longer qualifies for SST VIP.)
We don't know what the problem is today but Jeric's reported the problem. 32K is working (currently full) but 64 is not. |

The problem was with Live365 but they were unable to explain what exactly it was. I think they were having trouble with a server. It's likely that we'll be dropping Live365 altogether soon anyway.

| Apologese for posting in such an old thread but wow, I was looking around this forum and thinking about Live365 and how I found SST those many years ago. It was through Live365. I even remember being a member just to gain SST VIP. And it's only now that I remember why I no longer use Live365. lol. Memories fading, forgetting why some things went. Scary. |
