FYI: Soundtrack has been added to the playlist.
You can request from the album here.

This very good score from Doyle came out about a month before ERAGON on Varese Sarabande... please consider adding it... it has a memorable main theme and the whole score is high quality drama.

You may want to add a poll to this post so that people can vote on this potential addition.

I am in agreement with Limeychick. I think this score would be a wonderful addition to the SST playlist. This is another wonderful Doyle score which I have actually been listening to more than the Eragon score recently. I think both are wonderful scores, but they are two different kinds of scores.

So, in short I vote yes to having this added to the SST playlist!

The kind folks at Varese have agreed to send this to us. Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to hearing it.

Wow, that is excellent news Jeric. I think this will be a fine addition to the SST playlist and a great Doyle addition. Also wonderful to hear that Varese was gracious enough to send the CD to SST.

Agreed. I bought this CD on nate's recommendation and it is indeed a fine score.

Thanks to Varese, JERIC, nate and limey.

I am very glad to hear you enjoy the score Snow! It is good to know that sometimes my recommendations are worthwhile Laughing ! I also hope that people will select tracks from this score and enjoy it even though the movie is barely even known!

Hey JERIC... this is not a criticism, just a comment (and question)- how come Track 13 (Ngatsi Ngisahamba) is missing? That is, in fact, an original piece by Patrick Doyle. I understand about track 9, with all the live sound, but... I was just wondering, was it not included on style or rights grounds, or did you just not care for it?

What's the policy on "ethnic" music? Because I was going to send in a CD to SST that now I'm wondering might be seen as "too ethnic"...

I don't remember why that track was not added. I go through so many albums which makes it hard to. It could be an error while ripping or a track I didn't like. I will have to pull it out of the library to check.

I don't have policies against ethnic music. I decide on a case by case basis. You should email me with the CDs you are thinking of donating with listen links so I can decide if they're appropriate before you send them in. It may take a while for me to respond, but I will.
