Just thought we haven't had this topic knocking about for a while and it's always good to get ideas for new music (even - SHOCK HORROR - if it isn't a movie score! )
So, I've just bought
Boy Kill Boy (the group) - Civilisation (the album)
and
The Kooks - Inside In, Inside Out
Both guitar albums, Boy Kill Boyy are quite 80s influenced with keyboards running throughout but it's pretty racy stuff.
Really want the new Muse album Blackholes and Revelations; it sounds awesome. |

Just bought a CD including Igor Stravinsky's (1882-1971) "Symphony of Psalms", "Symphony in C" & "Symphony in Three Movements".
Great concert works, let's see if the London Symphony Orchestra (& Chorus) plays/sings them well... _________________ If our music survives, which I have no doubt it will,

I think it's Keane. Next one will probably be on July 11 (Muse's new album is coming out in the US)... _________________ Always wondered what a French photo album could look like?

I ordered the "Christus Apollo"-CD with concert works by Jerry Goldsmith and got it today.
Pricy, but worth it.
I'm wondering why it isn't already added to SST, since we also got concert works from Goldenthal, Hermann, Korngold, Morricone, Delerue etc. |

Just bought Hayley Westenra's Odyssey UK Release, it has her rendition of Enya's "May it Be". Still being shipped so I can't say how good it is, but I have not heard a song of hers that I do not like yet.
She has quite possibly the most perfect voice currently being recorded.

I bought 2 on the same day:
Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No.2, and Michael Jackson's Thriller...
both very old releases. |

There's something out there besides Soundtracks?!
Um, I think my last non-soundtrack purchase may have been Norah Jones or Josh Groban. It's been a long time since I purchased anything that's not a soundtrack. _________________ "Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it." ~ Marshall McLuhan |
