OK, a discussion in another forum brought this up. The Touch seems to be a nice, limited-release soundtrack by the great Basil Poledouris:

I couldn't find the ST at Amazon. In fact, the only place I found it was here at Soundtrack Collector.
 Does someone perhaps have the means to buy and donate this album? This would make a nice (and rare) contribution to SST...

Luther, I couldn't see your image so I added this one:
I found some good reviews at Film Score Monthly, moviemusicuk and moviewave.
After looking everywhere, I too was unable to find an online store that sold this soundtrack.
I'm listening to those music samples from the Basil Poledouris website as I write this and I like what I have heard so far. My favourite is Legend Of The Touch/Circus.

Usually this is listed on ebay a lot for usually $30 or more. If you are interested in trying to find this score here is my suggestion. Look on amazon and ebay for the CD using the search "Touch Kelly Chen". This is the method that I used and I was able to find the CD for about $14 to $15. I actually got mine from amazon using this method but you can find it at ebay like this also. Hope this helps for those of you who are trying to find this.

Thanks for this link. I like it when artists let you have a track or two. You can get a much better idea of what the music sounds like than you can with a 30-second sample.
Of course, now that we have this on the playlist, I can hear more, if I'm lucky. |
