Besides being an avid SSTer... what do y'all do?
To get the ball rolling:
I am a Sr Sofware Systems Developer... in short, I'm a computer programmer.

I'm a (telecommuter) programmer/analyst consulting with Union Pacific RR engineering department. If it's a fixed asset (rail, crossing, signal...) or a locational aspect of the right of way, then we write the maintenance software and handle the data. |

Until a teaching job comes my way I am a freelance Education Consultant for Scholastic in NYC, the book publisher/distributer.
I am their Teacher Consultant for Curriculæ and Contest Administration.
And I do some Childen's book writing for their Reference/Non-fiction division.

I'm a school bus driver out of Boulder, Colorado. I drive a 71 passenger transit this year and have a mountain route.
Because I work in Boulder, Colorado, I work with a lot of highly educated people (degrees: bachelors, masters, and PhDs) who retired or never liked the jobs available for their degree. I actually have 160+ college credits of my own but I couldn't actually get myself to focus on one subject to gain an actual degree. Loved the classes though!
I listen to SST during middays-if I am home, evenings and weekends. _________________ 'It was irritating to me that I should need money. I shouldn't need it.' Ed, The January Man |

I am the Senior Account Executive at Chase Life Insurance. A division of JP Morgan Chase. I take care of the people that apply for insurance and because of medical history or abnormal labwork get rated or declined. I can find life insurance for people that have very serious health issues and have even been declined by other carriers. I enjoy it quite a bit!

Man, I just knew that was gonna come back and bite me
I was at the board meeting when I wrote that and had my mind more tuned to Norwegian than English
So a better way of saying it should be "I work in Norway programming mostly Java" then (or something) _________________ "Anything one man can imagine,

Funny thing is... I didn't even blink when I saw that and understood it's original intent...

I'm training to be a teacher, but I also have a small 'business' underway (literally, this is it's first week!) - designing, making and selling alternative clothing and odd bits - calligraphy and the like.
If you want to know more, it's here: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/alternativebeauty
Oh, forgot to mention, I'm from the UK _________________ I amar prestar aen... |
