You'd have to use snail mail then.
PayPal has a fixed fee per transaction plus a percentage. So there's overhead no matter what.
The fees are very reasonable though. Much better then the Amazon Honor system which we dropped years ago.
PayPal is a great way to contribute. It's very convenient.
