Together with my friend I was looking some internet radio with good soundtracks. I was few days before Christmas, and we were very bored. Suddenly one of us (I don't recall who) found SST. By that day I started to listen this station. |

I was brought to this site by Thuringwethil, a friend of mine. She talked so much about the site I had to go check it out. I'm hook. Thx Thur. _________________ "Education's responsibility is to replace an empty mind with an open one" --Malcolm Forbes |

Not being happy with another station, looking for something better. I guess I just typed "soundtrack & radio" in google, and SST was about the second or third link that came up, but I'm not sure if I remember correctly anymore.

Like shock, I found it through Google. I actually found this last year, but didn't realize how cool it was until I joined this fall. Now you're stuck with me here! _________________ "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." - Gandalf the Grey |

The World Soccer cup (Korea) was starting and I was ticked with people around who even brought TV sets to the office in order to watch the matches ( ). In order to get out of that crap (I'm not a soccer fan) I decided to look for classic music streams in ... Google!! and, voila, the third stream I tried was SST and it hooked me. I can't remember the link I used to come but I remember opening Shoutcast among others.
Then I found out that with the stream there was a website associated, and that this website had a chat on the left side.
I lurked a bit and then decided to join in. Since then I've been in and out depending on if I were able to manage to get through the different firewalls and alarms created by the sysadm who has been cutting access to the stream and telling me to not access the site (he has the bad habit of studying the logs of the sites we visit). _________________ The problem with political jokes is that they keep getting elected. |

Hmm, as far as I remember, I just clicked on the internet radio button in Winamp, and before I knew it, I was listening to SST. Then I discovered the website and discovered just how unique this station is.
Like I've been telling some friends who are in traditional radio broadcasting, this station is a model for the future! |

Well, I was specifically looking for a soundtrack site to listen to, using a search engine. This site was at the top of the list and so I checked it out. I liked it and stuck with it. _________________ It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone. - Homer Simpson

For me, I was uh...flying around on a MMO game called SecondLife, and on one of the land plots they had SST streaming on it. What attracted me was a dramatic sounding film score that I'd never heard before, which turned out to be Future Tense from John Powell's soundrack for Paycheck. Very impressive piece IMHO. I was very pleased to find this place _________________ I'm not a goth....I'm a pianist. |
