Sorry; I feel like I'm dominating this thread, but… I got a poem published today at StrangeHorizons.com!
Mind you, I have been submitting to this mag for years, and this particular poem has been rejected twenty-two times.
If you like it, tell your friends! |

I just got this from the creator of a program currently in development that I am very happy with. It is a tracker to create music on Atari ST. I made a track with it, giving feedback on the program along the way.
It is amazing to get such a response from the creator of the program.

That is incredibly cool.
I can't believe I never mentioned this here, but I'm in an anthology that's in the last days of its Kickstarter. This is invitation, not expectation, but we're closing in on a stretch goal and I'd love to see it happen, so we authors and illustrators can get more money! Also, art.

A few weeks ago, I managed to submit my thesis, finally. From start to finish it took seven years, which correlates to my time on SST as well. Coincidence? I think not
To quote from my acknowledgement section:
"When it comes to everyday lab work, it can be noisy very often. As such, I am most grateful to the guys and gals over at streamingsoundtracks.com, whose constant supply of good music kept the lab noise away and helped to inspire plenty of thoughts while writing this thesis." |

Do we have a forum or page to display academic & scientific references to SST?
Many congratulations & much applause for your hard work _________________ If you can't stand the heat, don't tease a dragon |

Congrats Dan! That's funny, I have supervised many a thesis in my days, and I've never seen a radio station or streaming community thanked in the acknowledgements! But it's somehow very appropriate.
