I didn't know bots could get COVID! I'm learning so much through these forums. I do hope he gets better. Then maybe he'll post more.
Sigh. This is what I get for trying to connect with people. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

Finally reading Crime and Punishment. It's giving me a good idea of why Russian novelists like Dostoyevsky are considered the greatest ever. I'm enjoying it but I'm not sure that it's a style I'll actively search for more of. |

Haven't read that one. Let us know if it's worth doing!
I have to recomment A Memory Called Empire and A Desolation Called Peace by Arkady Martine, to any sci-fi fans out there. Those books are the most awesome thing I have read so far this year. I loved them. |

I went to ebay for a quick look at what they were & nearly had a heart attack when the first few copies came up at $600 or thereabouts. I hope you have a signed & numbered version
I've been enjoying the first few in Jodi Taylor's Chronicles of St Mary's (time-travelling historians) although I haven't devoured them as much as the friends who recommended them. _________________ If you can't stand the heat, don't tease a dragon |

I'm reading (slowly) a book that I bought during my last stay in US:
"Stalin: Paradoxes of Power, 1878–1928" by Stephen Kotkin _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,
