Hey all! First off, let me just say, congratulations to SST and all of our sisters stations here at 24Seven.FM for making it to our 19th anniversary of being on the interwebz!!! That is not small feat, especially in the world of streaming radio, where smaller stations like us have been gobbled up by multimedia empires like SirriusXM and iHeartRadio. Not us though.
Somehow, we have managed to survive these past 19 years, and now it is time to look forward. To do that, I would like to propose that we have an all out SST/24Seven.FM 20th Anniversary meetup.
Of course, we have no idea where we will be come this time next year, especially in the aftermath of COVID-19, which means we might have to get creative with our thinking for this event.
That being said, I would like to open the forum to others to voice their thoughts and opinions on this, any suggestions for meetup ideas, the possibility of doing a Virtual meetup instead of a physical meetup, etc.
Please feel free to sound off with any suggestions or ideas in this post. I will keep everyone updated as plans are made, and we get closer to the 20th anniversary.
Thanks for being a dedicated member of the SST/24Seven.FM family. We would not be able to be here today if it were not for all of you wonderful people!

I've been to one SST IRL meetup, and had a great time. I'd love to see something special happen for the 20th anniversary. What's the actual date of that, anyway?

Well, according to the SST About Us page, our official launch date was August 19, 2001, so I guess our 20th anniversary is on August 19, 2021 LOL.

Now we are starting to think there may be vaccines ahead I'd be hopeful we could do it in reality by next summer.
However I already have two "1 year on" events for August next year for things that couldn't happen properly this year so it may not be easy to get that date.
