Jade - Honestly I don't know what it was about Plunkett & MacLeane. I do know I was sick that night and Mr. ZG was making fun of the whole thing as it was on, so that may have influenced my thoughts. I promise I will attempt it again (probably this weekend as Mr. ZG will be working) and I will give my full report after.

Also watched (after hearing on SSt)
Fantastic Mr Fox, and I loved it so much I bought the DVD
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Robin Hood- The Streitenfeld version and
Green Card - which was horrible.

I hadn't heard anything about the movie "October Sky". After listening to the score, which I really love, on SST, I desperately wanted to see the movie. Although there are good actors in it and the movie is rated rather good at the imdb, I didn't really like it that much, as it was just another forseeable success story. |

I can't even count the number of movies i watched because of the Soundtrack 
There were both very good and really bad movies among them, but it also made me watch movies which are not that well known |

On a number of occasions, hearing the soundtrack at SST has led me to rent the film. Probably the most notable:
Modigliani - Wonderful score. Awful movie.

I went on X-Men: Dark Phoenix only because Hans' s Zimmer score. I hate X-Men, but I listened on spotify the score and was curious what the movie is about, so I went. Wasn't that bad, not good either, but the score, THE SCORE! save that day |

Hehe long list there martino  some of the movies are also on my "heard the soundtrack, watched the movie because of it"-list. The best and definitely leading title is however "How to train you dragon" as I heard the music here on SST before, liked it and decided to watch the movie because of it. Well, now it is one of my, if not the favourite movie
But in general, I hear the scores first on SST, and then at some ppoint watch the movies, sometimes because of the soundtracks, sometimes because of talking in chat about it
Adding a few movies that sticked to my mind that I watched because of the soundtrack:
The man from UNCLE D.Pemberton
Swiss Army Man (as mentioned above)
Thor Ragnarok (ok not only because of the score but also because people told me it would be good, it was )
Lady in the van by george fenton
Sinbad, Legend Of The Seven Seas by Harry Gregson Williams (granted, I saw the most important plot parts of the movie during the FMF gala already, but decided to watch it in full length again)

Have to admit How to train your dragon 3 blew my mind, both by score and the movie. The piece Third date, As long as he's safe, and Once there were dragons are absolutely unforgettable.
I also went on Widows, again because of Hans's score |

How To Train Your Dragon for me too, indeed! I probably would've seen it otherwise at some point also, as I like animated films, but I wanted to watch it primarily to get to know the context for that amazing score.
Also Pride & Prejudice, although I also watched that because my mother liked it, and I had read the novel some years before. |

I watched 'The Social Network' because I had heard the score, and (unpopular opinion here) liked the score.  The movie was okay in a "hmm, interesting" sort of way.

Sin City is one of the films worth watching because of its soundtrack. Actually it is not the only reason but the soundtrack is gorgeous too. |
