The first concert of this year's game music fest has been announced, and with it the date: October 18th (and most likely also October 19th) There are going to be three concerts in total, the first one called "symphony of the Desert" featuring music from Austin Wintory. His music to the games "Journey" "ABZU" and the Banner saga series will be written into suites and performed by a live orchestra without digital enhancement in the National Forum of Music, an awesome venue with great acoustics. Last year, mysza, kuvi and me were there and we had a blast, even though we couldn't visit all concerts. I would love to go there again this year, though I currently have other plans on this weekend. I have to see, if I can shift them. This festival is definetly worth it

Edit: The second concert has been announced: "The symphony of the colossus" featuring music from Shadow Of The Colossus, Ico and The Last Guardian. The third one will be announced soon as well  |

And the third concert has been announced as well: The symphony of the shadow" featuring music from the Assassin's creed series and the Hitman series, both composed by Jesper Kyd.
I know that kuvisit and mysza are planning to visit the festival, me still has to figure out stuff, but the program looks very interesting to me |

It is a very interesting festival. But I am probably going to Ghent in that weekend. |

concerts 1 & 3 look interesting + I always wanted to see Wroclaw + it would be a 'Katzensprung' from where I live...
--> I like the idea, but I have to consult with all the other parties involved first. |
