That was a helpful review, Cal! I just saw the movie, and of course paid close attention to the score. I have to admit I didn't particularly like the use of the theramin; I thought the sound was actually annoying and quite distracting. But I had to read your review to know what the instrument was. I thought it was an electric violin or a steel guitar, or maybe a bowed saw.  Other than that theme on the theramin, though, the score had some very nice moments, as you pointed out in your review.
