if the queue falls under an hour, all restrictions should be lifted. Just now, at 2 pm ET, SAM was allowed to shove 2 requests in while I was frozen out until my "5 minutes" expired. Why does SST prioritize requests for a computer over their paid members?!?!? The 5 min rule ought to be lifted entirely, but certainly when the queue falls under an hour. |

The queue never really drops under an hour lenght. As far as I know, this is one of the rules we have to follow if we don’t want the royalties to rise significantly. That’s the main reason why SAM is so eager to keep the Q over one hour mark.
My wild guess is it should be possible to let people request more often when queue is filled mainly with SAM’s requests though. Maybe we could have a poll here to vote on that idea. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Thank you but none of these replies answer my question. Everyone has the ability to request. We PAY to request more often as VIP members. Yet, when NO ONE is requesting, SST is favoring SAM over paying members. What don't you get? It's not worth it! WAKE UP. |

If you're seeing the queue being shorter than an hour, that's probably the timer lagging behind. I don't think it gets under an hour. Anyway, it could be good for the time limit to be removed when the queue is under 75 minutes, maybe?
What I don't get is why you're so intense about this, starstudios. |

SAM is supposed to mimic all the requests the members of this community are requesting. Having SAM in the queue should not be a bad thing. If SAM is misbehaving for some reason, we would like to know.
Removing limits would mean that it would become a personal radio station instead of a community one. |

Right now, the waiting time is 2 minutes, and I recalled that being the case. But usually it's 5. When is it 2, I wonder?
Because as most tracks are longer than 2 minutes, with this minimum it could be used as a personal radio station when nobody else is requesting. |

It is 2 minutes during European hours, because during that time the Europeans were more active. To be honest, I have no idea how active the Americans are lately. I need to check. |
