OMG - those look great. I'd love to go to any of the composer-specific ones but none fit with my (so far) planned trips to the UK. But the October ones together might be worth it .... hmmm ... need to think on this a bit.

Anyone going to the James Horner concert?

And or two days later The London Symphony with 'October' live?
This one at the Barbican.
October has a soundtrack by Shostakovich.

Well, how to say this... I've just found out about John Williams and the LSO on 26 October 2018. First time he returns to the RAH in 22 years and I completely missed it. It's sold out but there will surely be returns, even if I guess it won't be cheap.

Wow... a shame you did not know. I got 4 tickets for Sirius, Filmflip, his friend and me. But was quite a pain and some luck that I got the tickers. It sold out the moment the tickets went online.

Good to hear that you lot managed to get them! Since I can't find this info online, can you give an idea of the cost of the tickets, so I know? I'm quite good at getting tickets for sold out gigs so I may actually still be able to make it Smile

Cool, Cal.
When I looked there was one option left - a box for a mere £5000. Rolling Eyes

It looks like return tickets are starting to appear for the RAH concert - a 12-seat box is currently available at the bargain of £3348... :O

Sigh! And I do check regularly...

BTW, great news for us ticketless people: the concert will be live on Classic FM!

Sadly Williams will not be performing. Dirk Brossé will conduct the LSO.

Yes I saw! He's also cancelled the Wiener Philharmoniker dates next week. Are you all going anyway? I didn't get a ticket in the end but I'm very sorry for all the people who were coming from all over Europe for the concert!
