|
This has been inspired by a recent discussion we had here.
This thread is meant to be a place for members to let others know what scores/CDs they have decided to send in (to avoid overlapping donations).
For a start here is news about two CDs I've sent to JERIC a few days ago:
1. “Pele: Birth of a Legend” by A.R. Rahman
2. "The Great Wall" by Ramin Djawadi _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I bought two albums thinking of SST. I need to listen to them first but if they are OK I will send them to JERIC.
1) A compilation of Andrzej Korzyński's music composed to films directed by Andrzej Wajda. Here is a cover of the album: https://www.sonymusic.pl/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Wajda_RGB_72dpi-220x220.jpg
2) "Masaryk-A Prominent Patient" by Michał Lorenc. Cover picture: http://www.fan.pl/c/3521/B3521017.JPG _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I was planning to send in Max Dugan Returns/I Ought To Be In Pictures (Intrada,) and the Star Trek 50th Anniversary Collection (4 disc set.)
I just have to wait for a response on whether or not these are already in process.

I was listening to it on spotify. I found Miss Peregrine very interesting.
I 'm waiting for Jeric's approval regarding (all cd's ready for submitting):
The Book Of Stars by Richard Gibbs (2001)
Hidden Kingdoms by Ben Foster (2014)
The Muppets by Various Artists (2011)
Piano Stories by Debbie Wiseman (2011)
Qui A Envie D'Etre Aime? by Jean-Michel Bernard (2011)
Relatos Salvajes (Wild Things) by Gustavo Santaolalla (2015)
The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 by Rachel Portman (2008)
Steam (Hamam: The Turkish Bath) by Transcendental (1999)
I bought La La Land (both albums) and Warcraft but GalFin has already ordered them for SST. No problem, they are very good (especially lovely/jazzy La La Land), so I 'll keep them for myself. The same with Out Of Sight from David Holmes (you know, Ocean's 11, 12, 13). It is a good soundtrack but ... not for family friendly station like SST. The music has been mixed with dialogues from the movie, and as it is about bad guys they use a lot of dirty words. I 'm not going to shock younger listeners |

Isn't it the same album as we have here? http://www.streamingsoundtracks.com/modules.php?name=Album&asin=B000A3XYGY _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

You are welcome martino!
That album is often used for one specific request titled "Happy Birthday". That's how I remebered we already have it. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Some more music on its way to JERIC to keep SST playlist diverse!
This time the package will include:
- "Sztuka kochania" by Jimek (aka Radzimir Dębski) - nice score with 70s atmosphere. I plan to buy a copy of this CD to add to my own collection too.
- "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" by Bruno Coulais;
- "Kobiety bez wstydu" by Piotr Salaber. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Great choice Mol.
I found the Jimek-score a bit disappointing.
The Coulais and Salaber scores have some nice tracks.
Still thinking to add them to my station's database too. |

JERIC said he would take 'The Full Monty' for its two scored tracks, so I will send it in shortly. |
