This soundtrack would be the best addition to the SST library. While the scores from this movie may not be similar or have the jazzy vibe you've heard in every Peanuts specials, but still great score for every fans of Beck's works.
Songs most likely not added to the playlist are the songs by Meghan Trainor and Flo Rida, but up to you if you're willing to included these tracks or not, and more likely the three songs by Vince Guaraldi Trio (Linus and Lucy, Skating, and Christmas Time is Here) since these said songs are featured in The Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack. |

Voted Yes, but indeed we can do without the two source music songs.
Another great Christophe Beck I would like to see added is "Red Army" _________________

I could definitely do without the Flo Rida track, but I wouldn't mind the Meghan Trainor one, tbh – it's very radio-pop but I suppose it isn't much different from "Frozen" or "Happy Feet" and some of the other modern animated scores we have in the catalog.
Are the 3 Vince Guaraldi tracks exactly like the originals? That is, they're just copies of the same material on the other Peanuts soundtracks, they aren't new mixes or anything like that, right? _________________ "A day without music is a mistake." – John Williams |

After checking, the 3 VGT tracks appear to be direct lifts from the earlier Peanuts recordings. Not counting those (as duplicate material) and omitting the 2 pop tracks, it's about 33 minutes of new score music.
** Amazon has this on sale for cheap right now so I snagged a copy. I will include it with donations next time. |

YW, GalFin!
Quick update: I heard back from Jeric approving this title & it has been sent in, so it should be appearing soon. |
