This thread is for all things regarding Iranian-German composer Ramin Djawadi (b.1974).
Talk about anything and everything regarding this composer including current or future releases, news updates,
interviews, audio samples, etc. Here are a few links which give some basic information regarding this artist:
Emphasis is on "Game of Thrones" mostly but he also talks about his film work for Iron Man & Pacific Rim... as you can probably tell from the link address.

Nice interview on Hollywood Reporter where he talks about his influences & musical background as well as "Game of Thrones" pieces:
Hey, I just listened to that album. My opinion is not as positive as yours, but then, I don't have actual experience with the actual Great Wall. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?

I have attended the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience in Amsterdam, for those who are curious:
This has nothing to do with anything official, but my daughter and I worked out how to play the first lines of the GoT theme on her viola. It involved some playing by ear, and some transposing from sheet music found on the internet into a key with notes she actually knows how to play. (She's only been at this a year and a half.)
She's eight, so it's not like she gets to watch the show any time soon, but I'm trying to instill in her a love of score. She's taught herself themes from Song of the Sea and Chronicles of Narnia. I'm very proud. _________________ I have a book coming out. Wanna see it?
