Sometimes on Facebook I see a game where you can choose between two items by using different like emoticons.
Here is an example done by the game "Hearthstone":

So I was thinking we can do this as well from time to time between composers for example:
Williams vs. Zimmer
Horner vs. Goldsmith
Powell vs. Gregson-Williams
Barry vs. Herrmann
Or between scores:
ET. vs. Star wars
Ice age vs. Shrek
Do you know an awesome combo? I will post one in the near future to see if it catches on a facebook. |

I like the idea because this spreads via Facebook quite nicely.
Maybe you could compare:
rejected Scores vs the ones they actually used
original vs remake
original vs much later produced prequel/sequel (like star wars, jurassic park)
and since there are 6 emoticons you can let people choose between
the old star wars scores,
the different composers of harry potter scores,
the best superhero movie or tv theme,
the best intro music for popular tv shows (game of thrones, doctor who, star trek,..), ...
or let them decide who they would like to have as a composer for upcoming movies like the new harry potter book that comes out this year(?) |
