It has been cleared and confirmed by the board of the Krakow Filmmusic Festival that Abel Korzeniowski will be one of the names present during this festival and our 3rd. European Gathering.
Plans are in place to have a concert with his music, including an integral screening of "Metropolis" where Abel composed new music for.
Other plans are to have a signing session at the SST-stand with Abel, but this has yet to be confirmed. Talks/mails are going hin and forth now. _________________

I remember I enjoyed a track named "Abdication" played in Ghent last year (good piece for SST pianodays!) _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Yesterday Abel won the Public Choice Award for ‘W.E.’ at the World Soundtrack Awards.
Unfortunately he could not come (as mentioned in the WSA gathering thread)
But he left a message for the audience and he also uploaded it on his facebook page:

First step of inviting Abel to become SST guest at the Krakow FMF has been taken.
If this turns out to be possible we will have an exclusive (SST members only) Meet & greet _________________

On Friday (Jan. 30th) a film scored by Abel Korzeniowski is opening in Poland.
The title of the movie is "Ziarno Prawdy" (which I would translate into English as "Seed of truth"). It's a crime story based on a book by Polish author Zygmunt Miłoszewski.
If the score gets a release in Poland I will buy it for SST. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Abel's Live FB today (12/12/16) was wonderful. I'm sure you can watch the session if you go to his FB page and read his answers to all the questions he didn't have time for during the video portion. _________________ If music be the food of love, play on,
