Sat Dec 01, 2012 3:32 am Post subject: 5th European Gathering Film Music Festival Tenerife Jul 8-13
FIMUCITÉ has already announced the dates of its next year edition: July 8 to 13, 2013.
Programme of the festival has not been published yet, but it will be 007th edition of the event and a poster presented after final concert of 2012 gave a hint that we will probably hear some music from Bond movies next year.
Tenerife is a beautiful place to have FUN, SUN and FILM MUSIC and SST plans to be there again.
Our 5th European Gathering will take place from the first concert on Jul, 10th to sunday Jul,14th

So far Caliburn and me have plans to go there for a short week stay. (Tue-Sun)
I'm already checking available flights and hotel has been informed that there will be some SST-people again.
This year I will only take our counter to Tenerife and the standalone version of SST.
We will have an advertisement in the program which also invites people to the infocounter. _________________

I shortly will get more details but flighttickets will be around half of the regular prize.
Furthermore the complete concertprogram is now known:
I would propose you to come from July 10th to 14th. The concerts schedule is as follows...
- July 10th (Teatro Guimerá) - Big Band performing Tribute to Elmer Bernstein.
- July 11th (Teatro Guimerá) - Symphony Band performing music from Animation and VideoGames.
- July 12 th (Auditorio de Tenerife) - Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and Tenerife Film Choir performing Marco Beltrami, David Arnold and James Bond Tribute. Conducted by Diego Navarro and Steven Allen Fox.
- July 13th (Auditorio de Tenerife) Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and Tenerife Film Choir performing "Dreamworks Animation Studios" Tribute and "Varese Sarabande 35th Anniversary". Conducted by Diego Navarro.

To ask for an offering on airfares with the special Fimucité discount follow the next steps:
You send an email to Eva.Laynez@tubillete.com
saying you want to go to Fimucité, giving her the data on:
*days you need to travel and from what airport.
*the number of people travelling
*the exact name(s) as it is in your passport(s), once you decide to accept the Iberia offer
Eva will take care of the booking
In Tenerife you will have several options:
Fimucité has good arrangements with two hotels that are partner with the festival. If you want I can give you the details (prices € 50 - €65 p.n.)
The SST-crew will have it's HQ again in the Hotel Ramblas Colon. If you want to join us there as well also contact us via this forum.
Transport on the island will be arranged for by SSTEvents and includes two excursions (Siam Waterpark and the sandy beach at Santa Cruz)

I'm really interested to go in Fimucité this year and join the SST gathering.
I'm waiting for a refund of money and then, I'll confirm my attendance.
I think I'll come from July 9th to 14th.
I'll post here in some days once the money I'm waiting for will be on my bank account. I hope it'll not be too late to have the discount flight by Iberia.

Unfortunately, I'll finally not be present at this gathering.
The plane tickets are definitly too expensive (more than 400€, even with the SST agreement) for my budget to come this year.
I'll see several of you in Vienna next October.
