The process of overwriting the music files after our recent server crash is now complete! This should solve the issue of skipping requests by SAM.
If there are still any songs that are skipped, please send us an info about it as album correction via the album page.
Thanks for your patience everyone! _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Thanks for the update, mol – and BIG BIG thank you to JERIC & all of the admins who worked overtime to get us up & running again. _________________ "A day without music is a mistake." – John Williams |

Sorry, one question: I saw that the albums from the most recent update (originally posted in January, lost in the crash, and re-posted 2/7) have been added back, but most (all?) of them are now missing many tracks which had been included in the original posting. Was this an intentional change or just an oversight?
If the latter, and this specific set of titles needs an overwrite, do you still want someone to submit each individual album as a correction, or would admin rather use that update page for a working list? Thanks! _________________ "A day without music is a mistake." – John Williams |

+1 to the above. My album Reco only has 2 of the 8 tracks listed. I was going to submit the problem as instructed, but if it's a problem with other new titles, I thought I should second Mojo's notion publicly. |

I hope to be able to tell you more about the issue Randin and Mojo mentioned above, soon. Waiting for a word from JERIC or BQ about it.
I think it was Supersmoke (mod at DFM) who said backstage that JERIC plans to systematically re-add all lost albums back to DFM database manually. If that's true for DFM, there is a chance we will get all the music back at SST, too. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

TY for the info, Randin. That does sound more like it's just an oversight then, instead of a deliberate removal.
And thanks for keeping us posted, molossus.
One more small item:
The SST spots may also need an overwrite still. (Yes, I realize I'm pointing out adverts for fixing LOL but hey, they're the station plugs!) Since your initial post above saying that the overwrite was complete, I have heard a couple of these play okay but others cut off abruptly after a second or two, or otherwise sound like corrupted files. I would submit it as an album correction as instructed but those don't actually have an album page, just "Station ID" on the label & no ASIN attached where they could be looked up in the usual way. I'm not sure how else to send it in so I thought I would mention here. |

Good catch, Mojo! Thank you!
I've heard one of corrupted sweepers yesterday, too.
Will pass it to admins. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I better mention it before i forget, i tried playing Yakkity Sax from this album (Track 18 ) but I don't think it played it (although when i check the "played history" it is on there). Just wondering if tracks later in the alphabet are still getting skipped Thanks!

Thanks Last_Starfighter! It's possible that some tracks are still being skipped. We can report them to admins using "Make A Correction" feature you can find in Options at Album Informaton page. _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

I just noticed that in the queue today. YAY!
Any idea of the timetable for the other titles from this update yet? We still haven't heard if the admins want the individual albums submitted or not. (I don't want to flood them with separate corrections if they're planning to use the update page as their list!)
Thank you again, mol, for keeping us informed! |

You are welcome, MojoPin
JERIC was online at SST today and queued up two tracks with "this one should work now" message. I mean a cue form Randin's "Reco" and from Yuval Ron's "Breaking The Maya Code".
That's all I know at the moment.
BTW: I'm not on FB and I see that place slowly becomes the main channel of communication for news about 24seven.fm _________________ <i>"The piano keys are black and white,

Thanks for the tip, Mojo.
I'm glad most of them work now.
Though there are still some damaged left, apparently Skyfall is one of them. CorrectionRequest has been sent by me, today.
