I've been rating a few albums today and each and every time Firefox crashed when I clicked on the confirmation popup.

It's not the end of the world, but it is annoying.
For the last album vote I used Internet Explorer, nothing happened there.

Has anyone else had that problem or does anyone know what might cause this?

Just chiming in to say I've had the same problem, and it is most certainly the Firefox 15 update at fault. I rated some new albums here just a couple of days ago with no trouble whatsoever, but since then I updated FF and whenever I try to rate now, the browser crashes. It is not just here or this one issue, either – other things are suddenly stuffing up out of nowhere: Adobe plugin constantly crashing and/or locking up on YouTube (required a hard kill for me - 3 times now!); Photobucket galleries only able to advance so far before likewise locking up; etc. Hasn't happened when I checked in IE. It is definitely Mozilla that's messed up, not this site.

If you do have a page crash, be sure to say YES when the browser prompt asks if you want to submit an error report and include the URL of the page where it happened. Hopefully they will get their act together and fix these bugs soon! Rolling Eyes

I totally agree. The issue with the Adobe plugin is especially annoying, as it happens to me at least three times a day. Sad

So I'm not the only one! Very Happy
I don't have problems with any other things though, it never crashes except when I rate an album.

FYI: Firefox has already released a minor update, v 15.0.1 ... also Adobe just popped up with an update today when I booted up. I installed both, and I don't seem to be having the issue w/Adobe plugin any longer, but the browser is still crashing when I try to rate an album here.

However, slight change: when it was crashing before, it did not seem to register my album rating at all. Now, it's still crashing but when you tell it yes to restart, FF brings the last page back up and it does appear to have registered my vote (little green check mark icon). Small change but something different, at any rate. I'm not sure if that will help the Admins any, but I thought I'd mention it in case.

The new version of Firefox should solve this problem.
