We raised it to $800 for the rest of the year for a few reasons.

1. Amazon commission is down from $200/mo. to $20/mo.
2. GoogleAds are much lower than usual too.
3. We just bought a redundant server and will work on building it until we run out of hard disk space or the server goes down for good.

In other words people when you are buying stuff on amazon use our referral Smile

Just click on an amazon link on this site and then start purchasing.

Is there any way to somehow link the amazon button/link to members' local Amazon sites respectively? Like, i do buy stuff from Amazon here and there, but it's at Amazon.ca...but i do wanna help the site out as well Laughing

As far as I know you can support SST doing your shopping at Amazon.ca.

Just start your trip to Amazon.ca by clicking Amazon.ca icon in "Merchant links" module. Look for that icon at Album Information page of most of albums we have in SST library.

BTW: I assume that Amazon links are not broken anymore.

They are not broken but they are not real visible, either. Especially as the Amazon module doesn't appear at all when an album page is viewed by a browser with an AdBlock type of program. All you get is an empty space under "Merchant Links" and then the flags... and if you don't mouseover then you probably won't even realize what the flags are there for. IMO it would help greatly to at least have a text line (i.e. PLAIN text, simple html, that won't simply get suppressed by an ad-killer plugin) saying "AMAZON" just to identify them... if not something more attention-getting & specific like "Want this album? Support this station by buying it here!" (or whatever) instead. Just an idea.

Thanks Molossus! I feel so clumsy now...i've always wondered what those were for, never ever clicked them so that's why i always just saw the Amazon.com button! Feels good to see Canada on there Very Happy

MJ, i agree with you, it might be a good idea to make it more obvious for folks like me!...and i just bought the Iron Man cd now long ago Shocked

Now...here's another question, will SST get the same kickback from Amazon whether it's a $5 purchase vs. a $100 purchase? i'm guessing it's a small amount no matter what we buy, right?

The link in the Partner's Block (lower left side) has been fixed. I will fix the links in the links module soon.

It will now linked to this page

On the linked module (Menu Features -> Links) there will be links to all Amazon Stores worldwide with the right affiliate codes.
