I think that if a musical has been turned into a movie at some point or another, it is fair game to at least propose only because it's movie format makes it no different from any other movie. Look at the Disney films being made into musicals, does that mean they are not valid as soundtracks even though they are movies?
That being said, I wouldn't enjoy being slammed with musicals, but some are nice Smile
