So I found out today that True Grit is being remade. This time by the Cohen brothers. This time Jeff Bridges steps into the boots of the Duke to play Rooster Cogburn. http://tinyurl.com/2f3acl7

I was unable to see the trailer at the site I linked to, but the stills look good.

I haven't seen the original since grade school. I remember being annoyed that in adapting the book, they totally made Rooster Cogburn the main character, instead of the girl, whatever her name was. I wonder if they'll do that again. It's not really my kind of movie, and I haven't seen enough by the Coen brothers to make any kind of judgement.
