You get negative points for letting the cat out of the bag. _________________ "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?." -Maximus

It gives you a rank. But constructive posts are appreciated then. What does a rank do? Completely nothing :-) |

caliburn...points give you rank? I didnt even know that it was set yet. I kinda hoped that people post to be constructive anyway.
Honestly, as long as the point system furthers the goals of the site, i.e. they motivate others to contribute to its growth and direction, then I'm not opposed to it. Its when a few decide to abuse the point system, just to get their own way..thats why its important to be careful exactly WHAT will the points be used for.
For instance, as I said in the chat, I dont think it should buy you more requests, because that would, in essence, defeat a major objective of the channel, that being of diversity of playlist. It also would very much discourage those that are newbies, which are the ones you want to encourage!
Its all kewl. |

NO, they don't give rank. We haven't even organized a point system yet. We just mentioned it as a possibility. Now everyong take your Tylenol PM, because it's Juice & Nap time here at SST... |

has anyone noticed the MASSIVE and frequent posting of Robin Hood here, I mean Robert...
Cocles is about the only one that said something... lol, I wasn't even that bad
From a fellow archer to another archer, you might want to not be repetitive in posts, and maybe post something that equals more than one sentence. |

Point taken, Legolas. I guess I need to curb this "addiction" and take time to enjoy life away from this "black box". I find replying to posts a good stress-reliever for me....*hands start to shake at the thought of not contributing frequently to the Forum* (J/K) Sorry if I've been repetitive (I didn't know I was ). _________________ "Get it?...Got it!...GOOD!" -- The Court Jester |
