OK maybe this is the problem.
I see in the screenshot in the url no 'www' in front of the url. Again remove the cookies and flush dns and only use the url with 'www' in the url. Can you please check this? _________________ That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne)

Requesting bug -- Reason & Temp Solution
Okay, thanks to Siri's keen eye & hunch, we have managed to uncover the reason and found a temporary solution to getting around this 'bug'. Ironically the problem also turns out to be the solution:
Many browsers now allow you to omit the 'http://' & 'www.' prefixes for the sake of convenience.
Until JERIC can nail the bug, if you are experiencing problems requesting, you don't need to log out, just 're-visit' the SST website making sure that you include the 'www.' prefix in the address bar. You will notice that on your return, you are prompted to log in again even though your nickname is still visible in the online list. Log in as normal and you should now have no problems making a request.

Thank you Akula for your patient and comprehensive description of the issue. And Sirius went right onto the eye of the problem.
SST is the only 24seven.FM site that demands the "www" prefix. However it is possible to right its URL down without that. The web server should complete the address. Due to some reason I unknow, the rule that performs this "auto-completion" was commented out.
Now it shall be working. At least it was in the tests I just made. _________________ I think I think, therefore I think I am. (Ambrose Bierce) |

Just tested it myself on Chrome/Explorer/Firefox (with histories cleared beforehand), also tested 'inprivate' browsing sessions and... Good job Pesadelo, 'bug' squashed!!! I can't tell you how frustrating it's been, it drove me up the b***** wall it did, not knowing what could possibly be the problem. And credit has to go to Sirius too for his keen eye, thanks a lot Siri. Okay, I got some requesting to do. Thanks again Pesadelo. _________________ __/\_______\0/__ |

I want to express that it is this kind of cooperation between members and admins that make this station having such high quality. In my talks with people from the industry this community-aspect is always brought up and baffles a lot of people.
Thank you all and keep that up!!
Now if Siri can give me back my fav.list that would be even greater fun _________________
