Hello everyone!
I'd like to give a more precise location in my profile. The town is called Fukuoka. It means "lucky hill" and not something nasty but it automatically turns into ****oka! Laughing
Of course, this is not a serious problem. But if you know a solution, I would be glad to hear it.

cheers, inox

Laughing

You could try the Japanese name, if that's acceptable. It'll mean equally much to me but perhaps more to those that speak/read Japanese, and it probably won't be picked up by a language filter!

If the name can be written with accents (on the Us) to further specify how it should be pronounced, then this might be an option too. It sometimes evades the language filter.

Just be glad that you're not from a certain small town in Austria.
It has been known as F***ing... since 1070. Wink

I liked the idea with the Japanese characters (福岡) but unfortunately it did not work and showed only the html codes &#31119 &#23713.
So finally I changed the spelling to "Fuk uoka". This is not really the correct word separation but at least it evades the language filter, as Ghostkeeper suggested. Smile Thank you!
alien_avatar, it must be difficult for that Austrian town to attract tourists! Laughing

Lack of tourism doesn't seem to be a problem. Wink
They actually had to take extra measures to secure their town sign - British tourists kept stealing it...
