I figured, we have a thread for movies just watched and books currently being read. Why not video games? Oh, and if this thread already exists, I humbly ask you to point me to it.
I myself am playing LIMBO. It's a puzzle game. I've read that the little boy you're playing is trying to find his lost sister, but I don't know where they're getting that. Basically, you're trying to make your way through a German expressionist nightmare world where everything and everyone wants to kill you, and they succeed a lot.
So far, it's frustrating, but a good way to kill time while I'm waiting for Batman: Arkham City.

Still need to play Asylum. I just bought Grid from steam. And just registered for Quake live.

I tend to be about a year or two behind the curve on video games, because I wait to rent them from Blockbuster online. And I don't play online (Xbox Live), so I miss out on all the great multiplayer games.
I just finished Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Excellent environments and overall satisfying gameplay. Just a bit too short for the single-player story.
I'm about to start Portal 2 or Batman: Arkham Asylum, whichever comes from Blockbuster first. I've heard good things about both, so looking forward to them.

If someone wants to add me on steam, I have the same nickname (bpewien)
I'm more into FPS or good Action Adventures, but Limbo indeed does interest me a great deal. As soon as it is cheaper (10€ for a 3h game is a bit too much, no matter how good it is ^^) I'll get it.
And I loved Batman: Arkham Asylum, but I'll wait till Arkham City is a bit cheaper (I hardly ever pay more than 30€ for a game)
What I play currently:
-) Team Fortress 2 (since its release in 2007)
-) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (the singleplayer campaign is rather some kind of training for the multiplayer, which is much fun though quite often extremely unbalanced regarding the weapons handling and matchmaking)
-) Portal 2 (the new coop DLC was quite hard to solve, but the ending of it so much fun)
-) Duke Nukem Forever (just finished it, Steam cheaper sale deals for the win ^^)
There are still so many games on my Steam Account I even haven't finished yet - here a short selection:
-) Mass Effect 2 (played that one for over 50 hours and haven't played the finale yet)
-) Tomb Raider: Anniversary
-) Aliens vs. Predator (didn't finish any of the 3 singleplayer campaigns yet, because of the controls are which are way too console like - I hate that when I'm in fact playing on a PC)
-) Plants vs. Zombies ("Brains?")
Selection of games I have on my account and haven't played yet:
-) Metro 2033
-) Far Cry 2
-) Assassin's Creed
-) The Ball
-) Zeno Clash
Games wishlist
-) Dead Space 2
-) Limbo
-) Batman: Arkham City
-) FEAR3
-) Bulletstorm
-) L.A. Noire
-) Crysis 2
and many many more _________________ If our music survives, which I have no doubt it will,

Oh yeah, bpwien's list reminded me that I also recently finished Assassin's Creed 2: Brotherhood. Amazing game! Perhaps one of the best I've ever played. Highly recommended.

I don't play many video games but my hubby does. The game I play the most is World of Warcraft but lately I've been playing a lot of mini games on my iPhone - so addicting! _________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow. - James Dean
Since decent sleep is only a wish these days, I've been passing some time by playing Legends of Wrestling II for the XBox; an old favorite from my high school days.
Here's some footage from the Gamecube version.

Right now i'm going between Left 4 dead 2, batman: Arkham City and Call of duty MW3.
batman is 10 out of 10. Pick this up and play! _________________ If you have it you don't need it. If you need it you don't have it. You need it to get it and you certainly need it to get more of it. Which means you don't have it to begin with people just know.
