Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story is a manga and anime series created by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The story is set during the early Meiji period in Japan. The English versions of the OVAs as well as the movie were released as Samurai X, although the original title was included in the DVD releases.
SST member dnewhouse has reported he has the original limited edition Japanese digipak version, where the title is translated as Rurouni Kenshin. He believes that the title “Samurai X” was created by Sony for marketing purposes, and points out that “the main character is not and has never been a samurai.”

Rurôni Kenshin - Trust and Betrayal soundtrack is composed by Taku Iwasaki, a quite well-known Japanese composer who wrote music for many great anime series including Witch Hunter Robin and Read Or Die.
Kenshin is an anime series based on the manga by the same name. The series tells the story of a repentant assassin named Himura Kenshin. He vowed that he will never kill again, but his skills are still legendary and many enemies are looking after him. This series is mostly known under the name Samurai X in the USA (Kenshin le Vagabond in France).
While the series is quite lighthearted with a lot of humor and good mood, the Trust and Betrayal OVA (original video animation) is much darker as it tells Kenshin's tragic childhood and coming of age.
Taku Iwasaki wrote a beautiful sad score (In Memories) with some great piano pieces (The Will, Quiet Life, and also action tracks like Shades of Revolution or The War of the Last Wolves. Highly recommended!
